ILAsoft.net News: Russia's Freedom of Speech is dead
World: Russia's Freedom of Speech is dead

At last TV-6 (Russia's last independent television station) was killed, killed by politicians as a last step of the first wave of New Russian Politics. NTV was not enough for them, they had to kill ALL independent sources. What is left is sponsored by government and CANNOT be unbiased... There is nothing that can stop Putin and his apprentices. A KGB agent behind the wheel is worst that could happen to Russia after Soviet regime...

So, do you believe that Pustin is worse than the previous regime?

I shouldn't be the one to teach you that there is no Black'n'White in our world. I also hope that I don't have to explain that most of us are people of our own times. I was always hoping (as most of Russian intelegencia) that Russia will become Democratic after the destruction of the Evil Empire. So we were hoping when Gorbachijov was with us, so we continued to hope when Elzin kicked Gorbachijov out. As Elzin became older and older he was impossible to imagine as a politician, let alone leader of Russia. Putin has lots of positive things, like intelligence, harshness needed for being a politician, and even moral qualities some of our leader in the xUSSR lacked. Yet he is not what we were looking for. Looking at the things that happened recently we can say that he is more of a totalitarian leader and he will not be the one to bring democracy to Russian people. Let's just hope that the history for Russia goes in spirals and not in circles. :(
